The 18thCONFEC Red event saw UK buyers meet with suppliers from 20 countries in early February at the Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi & Palais des Congrès Marrakech.
The agents and corporate planners participated in a full programme of B2B meetings, teambuilding and hospitality.
CONFEC Red is aimed solely at UK buyers, and draws both established agencies, corporate organisers, as well as start-ups looking to increase their supplier network.
“Buyers and suppliers select their appointment preferences, which we then match,” says Christine Bartelo Parnis, event director. “We encourage buyers to bring RFPs and do actual business during the event, and of course take advantage of the many networking opportunities, which is where much of the business is done.”
The convention centre is a landmark venue in the city and host to a number of large congresses and high-profile events. The venue hosted two days of B2B meetings and the closing gala-dinner.
