TTM Maldives, the largest international travel trade show event in Maldives, returns this year in hybrid format, 28-30 November 2021 and organisers are expecting over 3,000 meetings to take place during the three days.
The show, now in its fifth year, will involve over 100 hotelier exhibitors this edition. Over 2,000 of the meetings are pre-scheduled, with 500 travel trade professionals expected to discuss over $1 billion worth of contracts.
The TTM Travel Summit will be held within the show framework – on 28 November – at Meerumaa Events Conference Facility in Male. The main theme of debate will be ‘’What’s Next in Maldives Tourism?’ and travel industry professionals will join the discussion on ways for tourism in Maldives to move forward amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
This year, the event will make use of the TTM Connect platform, with added features including virtual profiles and video call features to execute hybrid meetings simultaneously during the event.
Top event producers will again be recognised during the TTM Awards & Gala, which will be held 30 at Crossroads Maldives, the country’s first fully-integrated leisure and resort destination.
Travel Trade Maldives has also announced new categories for TTM Awards, which will feature expanded classifications such as MICE, Spa & Wellness, Wedding, Innovation, and Sustainability for 2022.
Organisers say the event will strictly adhere to all Health Protection Agency’s stringent guidelines and Medtech Maldives will be overseeing Covid-19 testing for all attendees who participate in the event in person.
